Twitterlight is a Twitter client built with Silverlight which provides features like auto-update and TinyURL support. The Twitterlight code is available here as is the explanation as to how it all works so you can build your own Silverlight Twitter client, too. (Read more).
Twit2art
Twit2art is a project by Belgian artist Jan Leenders. When you send a tweet to Twitter user @twit2art Leenders will make an artwork with it and ship it to you. For each subsequent painting ordered, the price goes up, so being an early adopter means you get a better deal on the art. You can see the list of tweets here and view the paintings here.
FLOATwitter
FLOATwitter is a Twitter visualization tool that offers a different way to see your friends updates. You only need to enter in your username in the top box, not your password. Site is in Japanese (I think).
Twitter Planetarium
Another one for visualizing Twitter: Twitter Planetarium. Tweets float around on the page, but no way to customize or add your own account. Can’t even click on the tweets to view them better or go to Twitter.com. Neat? Perhaps a Twitter dev got bored.
Twistori
Twistori is a social experiment using Twitter. The site pulls in tweets using Twitter search engine summize which match certain keywords like "i love," "i hate," "i think," "i feel," and "i wish." The results of the scan are then published non-stop on the Twistori web site in a Digg-Spy/Twitter-Spy-esque river of news.
Twerpscan
Twerpscan graphs out everyone following you on Twitter and their Following to Followers ratio all on one page. Follow @TwerpScan (or @Carlo) on Twitter to remain in the loop about new developments.
