Like ReadBurner did for blogs, Tweetburner lets you track the most shared tweet links. with this service, you’ll see what happens when you share links on Twitter. To use, just sign in at Tweetburner and they will register your page and generate your statistics, which will be available at http://tweetburner.com/username. The service also integrates with Twhirl, if you set your URL-shortening service to Twhurl.
Twitzer for Firefox
Twitzer is a Firefox add-on that lets you post tweets longer than 140 characters. Once installed, you just login into Twitter and begin posting as you normally would, however, now you can ignore the warnings about how many characters you have left. When you’re ready to post, right-click the box and choose "Twitzer Text."
The extension will automatically shorten your entry to 140 characters and the rest of the text is uploaded to the shortText web site, which is linked to at the end of your tweet.

The website Simpl.es is a URL-shortening service like TinyURL. Except when you enter in the URL you want to shorten, you’ll be presented with a screen where you can enter your Twitter username and password and can fill out a message to post to Twitter about the link, which is already present in its new shortened state. Another thing that makes Simpl.es different, is a link that you can drag to your bookmarks toolbar, so whenever you come across a site that you want to twitter, you just push the button and get redirected to the Simpl.es site, where the new URL will be waiting for you.
TwitterLinkr
TwitterLinkr is a service that aggregates all public tweets from Twitter’s main site. On the right side of the page is a list of Twitterers that update frequently. You can click on any of their Twitter usernames to see a full page of their recent tweets. Click on the “Popular” link on Twitterlinkr to see a tag cloud of the most popular tags at the time. You can also use the TwitterLinkr search box to search for anything on Twitter.
Tweetl for Short URLs
The URL-shortening service from Tweetl cuts down long URLs for tweeting. Tweetl also has some other features that make it more fun than the usual shortening service. With Tweetl Preview, for example, you can preview a Tweetl URL by typing preview.tweetl.com/[id]. Tweetl Stats lets you get detailed info for any Tweetl URL. And much more! Tweetl also lets you add a description after the Tweetl link by first adding a "?" then your text.
