Twubble
Funny name, great app. "Twubble" is the latest edition to the Twitter app family and it can help you find interesting people to follow on Twitter. Just visit the homepage and click "find some friends." If you aren’t already logged into Twitter, you’ll need to input your username and password, otherwise, Twubble will just fetch a list friends. The friends are ranked by how many of your friends are following them. You can click on "follow," just like you can in Twitter, to start following any of the friends Twubble finds.
Twitter and Songza
Songza, a music search engine, is offering a way to make content more shareable using Twitter. Songza has added a “Twitter This” option to the menu that appears when you click on a song in your search results or playlist. This will post your song to Twitter, sort of like a TinyURL.
Tweeterboard
Tweeterboard is a list of the top 100 most influential users on Twitter. From the site, you can look up any of the top 2600 or so users and see who they talk to and how much influence they have in the ecosystem. Their reputation is based on reputation points which are determined by an algorithm that measures the conversations you’ve had over the last 28 days.
Twitter Scan
Tweet Scan is a real-time search engine for Twitter posts. You can use the search box on the Tweet Scan homepage which, by default, searches all tweets. You can change this to have it search through tweets for a particular user. Tweet Scan can also do your searches automatically and email them to you. Now you can check every day who’s twittering about what (maybe they’re twittering about you!).
TwitterWho
TwitterWho is a people search service provided by the same people behind FormSpring, the popular online form builder. The search makes calls to Twitter’s people search form found at http://twitter.com/invitations, but lets you enter multiple queries at once so you can find people more efficiently. With TwitterWho, you can easily find people who have signed up for Twitter, without having to send them all an invitation to use the service, only to find out they already are!
Twitter Blocks
Twitter Blocks let you discover new people on Twitter . You can find new people on your Twitter block by navigating through this animated three dimensional visualization of who follows whom. It’s who you follow, who they follow, who they follow…etc, etc. All mapped out visually for you. Pretty cool!
Terraminds
Terraminds micro is a search application for Twitter messages and users. To use Terraminds, you just enter a query into the field and then click "search in updates" or "search in users." This search engine searches in the publicly available Twitter status updates, using the Twitter API.
