Twitter Sidebar Replies

Twitter Sidebar Replies places replies to a user on the sidebar of their Twitter page. So if you are visiting Biz Stone’s page (http://twitter.com/biz), any @Biz messages will be placed in the sidebar below his friends. Will also list replies to you if you are on your home page.

Twitter Follower Sorter Greasemonkey Script

Twitter Follower Sorter: A Greasemonkey script that sorts your followers by whether or not you follow them. After installing, go to http://twitter.com/followers to see the script in action.

Note: As of Sept. 2008, script is having issues after recent update to Twitter.

UTF8Twitter Greasemonkey Script

UTF8Twitter is a Greasemonkey script that adds a bar to the top of your Twitter page so you can add UTF8 characters at the click of a button.

SocialToo

SocialToo works with both Facebook and Twitter to help you follow back those that follow you. You can also block those you don’t want to follow. For Twitter users, just enter in your Twitter username and password and SocialToo will begin to auto-follow your friends that add you. In the future, they will be adding other social networks to the service as well. The developer is @JesseStay on Twitter.

TwitterScript

This Greasemonkey Script lets you send tweets right from Firefox. If you’re not running Firefox 3, it will ask you for your username and password. One problem: doesn’t work with Gmail.

Twitter Hashtags Script

This Greasemonkey script adds links to hashtags.org, twemes.com or summize.com to tweets on twitter.com.

Twitter + Summize Replies

A few people have created Greasemonkey scripts for Firefox that let you integrate Summize replies right into Twitter.com. This is very useful for when Twitter goes down and replies are taken offline.

The scripts are:

TwitterReplies: This script will replace the Replies tab with a search for ‘@<id>’ on http://summize.com.

Summize Replies: The ‘replies’ tab will link to a summize.com search for tweets directed at you.

Summize Replies on Twitter: Same thing, but description is in Japanese, but it should work, too. 

Twitter Friends To FriendFeed

The Twitter 2 FriendFeed Importer is a downloadable program for your computer, currently available in a text version only. The program helps you to export your Twitter friends and import them into FriendFeed. At the moment, the program is text-only, which means it will run at the command prompt, but a future version will have a GUI. Although the program asks for your credentials, they will not be stored.

Twitter Auto Complete Script

A Greasemonkey script for those who primarily interact with Twitter via the web: the Twitter Auto Complete Script automatically completes any Twitter username as you type.

The Twitter Blacklist

The Twitter Blacklist is a site dedicated to identifying Twitter spammers, something they do based on a following to follower ratio. Think that new follower might be a spammer? You can check this site to be sure. Even better, a Greasemonkey script is available from Michael Klier which will put a banner at the top of a Twitter user profile if that username is identified as a spammer.
