Pikter
Pikter is a simple service that enables users to share photos via Twitter and/or Jaiku. Users are given a special email address to which they can send photos to from their phone or email client.
The service is free. However, there will be limited ads placed throughout the site.
Twuzzer
Twuzzer is a site where you can see what the most talked about topics are on Twitter, but right now, when you go to www.twuzzer.com, the URL redirects you to http://www.twuzzer.com/Olympics. So perhaps they are just going to follow the hottest topic and nothing else. In addition to the real-time Twitter updates, the site also tracks Flickr photos tagged with “olympics.â€

Checking Back In With Twitxr
Originally, Twitxr was not much more than a Twitter clone for posting pictures, but the site seems to have evolved. Now you can access Twitxr from any mobile device (Windows Mobile, iPhone, Nokia, Motorola have apps, other devices go to m.twitxr.com or email). The app also allows for cross-posting to Facebook, Twitter, flickr, and Picasa. As Ping.fm is to microblogging, Twitxr is to microblogging your pics. Time to give Twitxr another look?
Twitter Backgrounds
There’s a trend going on where people are creating custom backgrounds for Twitter that also serve as extended profiles (you can see one in action here). Instead of going through the ordeal of having to create your own background, a few sites are offering downloadable backgrounds you can customize and edit in Adobe Photoshop or another similar type of software application. Here are some sites offering free Twitter backgrounds:
TwitterBacks: Offers the “ProBlogger†background and the “Business Professional Backgroundâ€
The Boingblog also has a downloadable PhotoShop template.
