Twitpwn is a website that is focused on logging all past and current vulnerabilities in Twitter. At Twitpwn, they write about the potential for distributing malware via Twitter and keep you posted on those that have does so.

Twuzzer

Twuzzer is a site where you can see what the most talked about topics are on Twitter, but right now, when you go to www.twuzzer.com, the URL redirects you to http://www.twuzzer.com/Olympics. So perhaps they are just going to follow the hottest topic and nothing else. In addition to the real-time Twitter updates, the site also tracks Flickr photos tagged with “olympics.”

Wesabe Adds Twitter

Wesabe, an online app for managing your finances, have added Twitter integration so you can track where your dollars go:

Twitter Spam Crackdown Hurting Companies

Comcast, Jet Blue and Pandora have all confirmed that as of yesterday they were unable to follow folks who have followed them, according to ZDNet. This is all thanks to Twitter’s (perhaps too-harsh?) anti-spam efforts which are meant to crack down on unwanted follows from bots.

Penn State College Police Now Use Twitter

The Penn State College Police Department is now using Twitter to communicate with students. Those who choose to follow the State College Police page can learn about parking restrictions, snow emergencies, speed detail enforcement areas, arrest statistics and activity reports from major events such as football weekends.

TweetSmart is a Twitter link blog that keeps tracks of real-time commentary from the Twittersphere. To post to TweetSmart, you have to follow the Twitter user twsm then contact them and have them follow you back. To post to the TweetSmart service, tweet in the following format:

TweetWire provides citizen journalism via Twitter. The site is a "neo-newspaper" that grabs the freshest links posted to Twitter and then categorizes them, newspaper-style into sections like "Technology," "Sports," "Celebrities," as well as hot topics like "Election 2008" and "War on Terror." The site is powered by Summize, Yahoo Pipes, twitThis, SimplePie, and uses human moderators.

Alpha Twitter

Want to know the most popular links on Twitter? A service called Alpha Twitter can help. Developed by Luis Figueiredo, the service counts how many times a link was shared over the past 24 hours and ranks them in order. It can even parse shortened URLs made with services like TinyURL.
