Chirrup

Chirrup lets you bring Twitter comments onto your blog, linking Twitter chatter to your blog’s content. The way Chirrup works is by fetching the replies from Twitter and sorting them by URL so you can then have a Twitter comment feed on your site that you can post anywhere.

Tweet 2 Tweet

RSSmeme creator Benjamin Golub launched Tweet 2 Tweet, a conversation tracking tool that only shows the conversations that took place between two people. To use the app, you just enter in two Twitter screen names into the boxes provided and then click “View Conversation.”

Twitbuzz

Twitbuzz is a content filtering service for Twitter that tracks and follows the latest popular links, conversations, and people on Twitter. On the homepage, you can click to view links or conversations and then can choose the timeframe you want to see - either recent, top in 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or All-Time. The site uses a proprietary scoring algorithm to determine relevance and is a part of the recently formed Viral Motion Ltd, a new online social media company.

TopTweet

The Twitter app TopTweet lets you stay up-to-date on all the best Twitter users and what they are tweeting. A good starting point for Twitter newbies who are looking for some friends to follow.

TweetDumpr

Not sure why you need this, but here it is: export your entire Twitter timeline to a CSV file via TweetDumpr. The exported data includes the tweet and timestamp.

TwitterReply

The service TwitterReply makes sure that you never forget a reply in Twitter. Sign up and it watches your replies for you and emails you the info. Could be useful for people who aren’t on Twitter too much or who have multiple accounts.

Gridjit

The Twitter service Gridjit is a portal that presents you with a new way of seeing your Twitter stream - as a 3-column display. The site also groups messages from the same user together. You can also update your Twitter status right from Gridjit.

Quotably

The service “Quotably” lets you follow conversations on Twitter in a threaded format, which makes it much easier to follow the conversation. To use Quotably, just enter a Twitter username and you’ll see the threads around that user. You can also use the search box to find conversations around certain keywords on the site.

Twitter Digest

Twitter Digest is a service that lets you read Twitter updates in a more manageable fashion. Just pick the usernames you’d like to generate a digest for, and you will see all updates made by them during the past full day (GMT). At midnight, a new set of updates rolls over. The digest is available as both a webpage that you can visit periodically, or as an Atom feed that you subscribe to get updates (grouped as one feed item) in your favorite feed reader.
