How are ad campaigns assigned to Twitterers?
1. Setting up a campaign
Allocation of campaigns is based on context-matching and automated bidding. The advertisers set a maximum CPM (cost per thousand) for each campaign.
This price relates to the cost per one thousand Followers and represents the highest bid. The amount will be split evenly and assigned to each keyword.

2. The bidding process
A campaign qualifies for a Twitterer if at least one keyword matches. The maximum bid is computed from the sum of all matching keywords.
The highest bid finally wins at the price of the second highest offer.

3. Assignment of the campaign
Once the auction is decided, the ad message of the winning advertiser is published by the Twitterer. The cost is based on the CPM the Advertiser won the auction at.
The Advertiser can control the cost by defining daily and total budgets for all campaigns.
