TweetRemote merges Twitter and blogging in a unique way that lets you decide when and how your tweets are included on your blog.

The Technical

TweetRemote recognizes your tweets based on hashtags and creates files containing formatted XML based on the type of content contained in the tweet. These files can then be automatically aggregated into a blog or other dynamic website.

For Example:

I post #link http://tweetremote.com Cool new Twitter/blog integration tool! to Twitter. TweetRemote will watch your Twitter account RSS feed and upon recognizing the #link tag will pull it into its own custom XML-formatted file and apply the necessary formatting to turn it into Cool new Twitter/blog integration tool! This can then be automatically posted to your blog using the aggregator of your choice.

Twimbler

Twimbler is a tumblr blog that gets updated via Twitter. To use, send links to your twimblog using this format: #log: {http://example.com} {A short description or comment on the link}

AddTweets

AddTweets is a free service which allows you to add your latest tweets to a blog or website using a small piece of JavaScript code. To use AddTweets you just provide your Twitter username and tell it how many tweets you would like it to display (max 10).

Twitpwn

Twitpwn is a website that is focused on logging all past and current vulnerabilities in Twitter. At Twitpwn, they write about the potential for distributing malware via Twitter and keep you posted on those that have does so.

Twitter Tools

Twitter Tools is a Wordpress plugin created by Alex King that lets you use Twitter from within Wordpress via the Settings page. Twitter Tools can be configured to tweet when you post in your blog, create a blog post from your tweets, and more.

Twit-it

Twit-it! is an online app that allows you to send tweets to twitter about things you are looking on internet on that moment. The app works via a browser bookmarklet or a button you have embedded on your own blog or site.

Twitter Writer

Twitter Writer is a plugin for Windows Live Writer that pings Twitter after you publish a post to your blog. You can configure what the message says in the settings.

To install this plugin, do the following:

1. Download the file Twitter.WriterPlugin.dll and copy it to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Writer\Plugins\
2. Go to Tools –> Options –> Plug-ins –> Twitter Notify and fill it with your Twitter username / password.
