GeoTwitterous
A Yahoo Pipes mashup, GeoTwitterous is similar to another map mashup, Twittervision. Whereas Twittervision plots tweets on a map, GeoTwitterous lets you search by username and then display that user’s tweets and those of their friends on a map. You can also check a box to have it attempt to place individual tweets to see which folks are roaming around.
Twitterverse
Twitterverse is a site that is essentially one big tag cloud of the day’s tweets. You can view the tweets for the past hour, 5 hours, or 10 hours. You can also view tags that are one word or "two word phrases" like "buenas noches." Just for fun, you can change the color of the Twitterverse site using the color squares provided. There’s even a search function to look for tags, but uh…it doesn’t seem to work that well.
Twitstat
Twitstat is another Twitter stats service providing real time Twitter analytics. To be included in the list, follow Twitter user twitstat. You can search the stats and subscribe to an RSS of that search. The site also displays a chart of tweets and lists things like the top 10 tweeters today, yesterday, most engaging, most social, etc. There is also a tag cloud of keywords.
TweetStats
With TweetStats, you can graph your Twitter Stats by hour, by month, or you can view your Tweet timeline. To use the service, just enter in your Twitter username, then click "graph my tweets!" This service is slow, so you have the option to save the "graph URL" and come back to it later.
24 o’clocks
At 24oclocks.com, you can enter your username to see your tweets over the past 24 hours or your tweets with friends. You can also scroll forward and backwards in time to review earlier or later tweets (but not into the future!)
TwitterVision and TwitterVision3d
Both TwitterVision and TwitterVision3d are mashups, the former with Google Maps and the latter with a spinning globe, but both provide a real-time view of world-wide tweets.
Twitter Browser
The Twitter Browser app lets you visualize your Twitter social network and friends as well as friends of friends and how everyone is linked together.
Twitsig
The service from twitsig will convert your Twitter status into and image, which you can then use anywhere on the web or as an email signature. To use Twitsig, just enter your username in the box provided and click "get code." To use it, just reference http://twitsig.com/TwitterName.png where TwitterName is the twitter user you want to display.
Twixxer
You can share photos and videos on Twitter using this Greasemonkey script from Twixxer. Firefox users with the Greasemonkey extension can install a user script that adds functionality to pages on Twitter.com. Users can upload photos and receive a short URL to include in an update. The URL is a link to a large version of the photo, but anyone who has the tool installed will see a thumbnail under the updates on Twitter.com.
