Twittershare
Twittershare is a new service that lets you share pictures, music, video, and other files with friends using Twitter. You can share anything that’s 10 megs or less and the sharing can be done via direct messages, replies, and regular tweets. To use the service, you download the twittershare widget and then it’s easy as 1-2-3 - You drag a file onto the widget, type your tweet, and then click Twittershare!
Traffic Updates via Twitter
Commuter Feed is a service that lets commuters get updated with traffic info via twitter. You can also use Commuter Feed to update others with the latest traffic news. The service works like most other bots - you subscribe to them on twitter (http://www.twitter.com/commuter) and then sent them messages with the traffic incident or problems you encounter. There is a huge list of regions supported, so just find yours and subscribe to it!
Twitter Link Monitor
Scott from TechLifeBlogged created a Twitter/Yahoo Pipes tool called Twitter Link Monitor. Since Twitter offers up feeds via RSS and Yahoo! offers their Pipes tool, he was able to build, filter, and subscribe to a feed that gives him only ‘tweets’ with links in them. If you have a Twitter account you can use it too. Go to http://pipes.yahoo.com/techlifeweb/twitterlinkmonitor and enter your Twitter user name in the field provided then click Run Pipe.
twit.io
Twit.io is the world’s first social database currently in alpha. The twit.io database works with Twitter to let you post and search events, videos, and jobs. To use the Twit.io, you use TwiNQL (TWItter Non-geeky Query Language). To send a twinql to twitio, it’s easy:
1. Follow the twitter user "twitio". (You can actually post to the database without following "twitio" but all the features won’t work, like search.)
2. Send replies to @twitio to post to or search the database
3. You can now post with direct messages: -d

Tweetmeme is a mashup application that tracks what’s cool and happening now on Twitter. Whatever Twitter users are talking about the most gets a higher ranking on the site. With Tweetmeme, you can actually see when a website going viral, for example, as the site’s popularity spreads through the Twittersphere. Content on Tweetmeme is organized into blogs, audio, video, and image categories. Tweetmeme also offers RSS feeds of this content which you can subscribe to to stay up-to-date.
Twitter Answers
For Mosio users there comes a service called Twitter Answers. To use the service, Mosio users must first befriend the Mosio Twitter bot, and then they can ask it any questions using Twitter’s direct messaging feature. Other users who have also befriended the bot will get the question (syndicated from the bot), and up to four of them can directly reply to you. Without any sort of threading, it’s difficult to see the answers in Twitter itself, by on Mosio, you can see the entire exchange in order.
